i preface this by saying i already have 5 pairs of ugg coquette slippers which i adore BUT this transaction was a bummer ... they took forever to come & when they did they were defective (the logo patches were out of place) & there was a whole 'dog & pony' show return process with the vendor ... in the end i did not get my return shipping cost back (they said there was no defect - yeah right) & i ended up losing $12.00 with no slippers to show for it ... i do want to mention that amazon was wonderful but SHOES CENTRAL was not !

These literally fell apart. After about 4 months the shoe actually ripped away from the sole. I have been pleased with My other Uggs but these are not well made at all!

I did not wear them in any adverse conditions either, just around the house ect.

These slippers are indeed rugged and very, very warm. However, after only 20 minutes of wear time they make my feet and ankles ache so badly because once your heels settle into the sheepskin it is like walking on bricks. There is zero shock absorption so if you have plantar fasciitis, weak ankles or spurs then these are not the slippers for you. For the money I expected more than just wool over hard rubber. An underlayer of memory foam or something could have made a world of difference. I won't be buying these again.

I received thee cozy and sturdy slippers as a gift late in the fall of 2008. They looked and felt great, but before the winter was over the heel part of the interior sole became completely worn out in both slippers. For the record, I am 5'7", weigh under 120 lbs, and do not have an unusual gait. I was surprised that an Uggs product would wear out so fast. My last pair of shearling-lined slippers lasted over 15 years (wish I could remember the brand).

I wear an 8.5 shoe, the size 9 slipper fit perfectly.

I was reluctant to purchase these unless I found them on sale, but after trying them on and wearing them for a bit, I woulda payed full-price for these boots. They are the perfect "walk-your-kids-to-school" boots, especially now that fall is here. They are stylish, without being too fussy, and comfortable just like slippers, and warm while still letting your feet breath. My only concern is keeping them still looking new, as the knit material can attract dirt. I originally got them in a light pink, and later got them in grey. I find myself wearing the grey more often, as the neutral colour matches well.

I recommend ordering down if you're a half size (ie. 7.5 order a 7) or sticking with your regular size if you're a solid number (ie. 8 should order 8). The liner does flatten out a bit after wearing, and the knit does stretch a bit as well, but not enough to size down a complete size.

As a result of having three broken toes I can never again wear heels...I own Uggs Australia classic tall boots in Baked clay, grey, brown, sage, chestnut, sunflower yellow, black, terrecotta, pink, blue, lilac, sand etc...They are fabulous I love them!!!! Especially if you have problem feet...I prefer the classic talls as I like to fold the top of the boot over exposing the inside..The classics are very light weight with a light weight sole. They don't pull down from the weight of a heavier sole as the off brands often do...I wash them with water and a bit of soap, let them dry over night and they look great...Great with jeans....I size down for a super soft comfy snug fit but can still fit socks in them..They are perfect for the beach or the mountains or for everyday..I love them.

I bought 3 pair ( 1 for me and for my 13 and 10 year old daughters). We all love them! They are comfortable, cute (no matter what others say) and don't make your feet sweat. Trust me, this is a big deal after living with my teenager and her faux sheepskin slippers (Ugh!). The only problem is that they require regular care, particularly for my youngest. She has SOAKED them at least three times (we live in Michigan)and even waterproofing doen't keep them from VERY dark water stains. I researched on line and found that cleaning them with vinegar does the trick! Save yourself the money and don't buy the cleaner- vinegar is cheap and available! I pretty much clean them and re-waterproof them once a month. They still look great! They'd be ruined if not for the regular care. That makes these boots expensive AND high maintenance. They do run small-order a full size down. You'll be glad you did.

I have to say these are one of my favorite brands ever. in fact i now own 12 pairs of ugg boots they really are comfortable whether you wear them as slippers or for everyday. but i have to warn you because of the flat sole they are not that great for walking long distances unless you put in an insole. i have to say my favorite ones i own are the classic tall lavender the classic tall patchwork and the sunset in teal. definitely worth the money because they last long my oldest pair is over 5 years old and going strong.

Looks like every color of Ugg bots have a different shape. I got Sand and they look exactly like on the picture. Look very cute with skinny jeans.

You have to order size down, unlike f.e. Emu. I normally wear 8-8.5 and I own Ugg size 7, and they fit perfect.

From all those boots I like Uggs style the best (too bad because they most expensive but money well spend). They really warm (not to hot) and comfortable to walk in.

The only downsize thay even if you waterproof them with wet snow or rain they will get destroyed. This is why I wear them only in dry weather (in the winter too but not in deep snow).

They so convenient, you just jump in, even without socks (great ventilation, they really nice even in the summer).

Even they cost a bit I don't regret to spend money on them at all, and I recommend them over other brands. If you want to spend less though go with Emu Stinger (although at the beginning they might leave some color on feet or socks, not the problem with Uggs!).

I don't see anything wrong with these boots! They fit nicely, and I find they run true to size. I'm a solid 6, and the size 6 fits just fine. They do crease at the ankle when you walk, but I think that's normal. They look cute, and fit well around the calf so they don't look sloppy. They're just basic rain boots, and they're not SUPER well made (they're just fine, though). So yes, they are a little overpriced, but if that's not an issue, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them!

I was so excited to get these boots...I broke open the box the second I had it in the house! The boots run big, the calf is wimpy (makes a crease by your ankle when you walk making them look flimsy and the feel annoys you.). I also found that part of the boot a little tight fitting (I'm average size, wear a pant size 8) All in all, very cute design but not worth the money.

This are some prety cool rain boots they are fairly comfortable. The boots felt a little tight when I first put them on, although they did loosen up after I had them on for a while. Other then that there was no break in period. My feet felt warm and cozy in the boots. I wish the boot came in half sizes. I would have ordered a 1/2 size larger just for some extra toe room. I just purchased these boots. I wear a size 10, which is what I ordered, and my toes touch the tip of the boot. I did not find them to be too large at all. They are very comfortable.

I got a little dirt on them and rubbed it off with a little water and shoe cleaner, and some of the dye rubbed off leaving a lighter colored spot. I am not sure if this speaks to the boot dye, or the cleaner I used, but nevertheless, I was still surprised to see it.

I really like this boot for its style, comfort and warmth, and would highly recommend them. I did not rate them a 5 star as the size was a bit snug and the color came off easily

Three months ago I purchased a very similar EMU boot on Amazon. (black with white wool inside). Due to unusual circumstances (I'm traveling), I have worn these boots all day every single day for three months. They are fabulous! Believe it or not, they look just as good as the day I received them!! There are no signs of wear!! They have held up far far better than I could have hoped for, and far better than any Uggs I've owned. I use the ribbons on mine to tie the flaps up, and I am constantly stopped and complimented on them. SIZING: I typically wear a woman's size 7 shoe. I ordered a size 6 boot. They fit GREAT with bare feet - definitely not too tight at all. After three solid months of wear, they've actually stretched a little bit, but nothing that an added insole won't cure. Based on the boot I purchased, I recommend ordering a size smaller than your normal shoe size.

"Warm but one slight drawback" 2008-05-05

I bought these in black. They fit well since I bought a half size larger than needed. They look great and are sooo warm. I would wear them more except for the one drawback. You are not supposed to wear socks with these boots (not sure you'd be able to with them being so snug) so my feet come out black from the black dye. Not such a good thing. That being said, I still love them for the benefits.

I got into Warmbat boots back in 2005 whilst seeking an alternative to Ugg boots; got sick of seein' 'em EVERYWHERE! Ordered a pair of short Kangaroo classic Warmbats in loverly chestnut brown. Love 'em! Still have and regularly wear 'em. Ordered two more pairs soon after; a black pair of short Kangaroo classics, and a pair of Gecko grips. Three years later and they're still wonderfuly comfy, warm and snug. However, I'd ordered a pair of tall Kangaroo classics early in '07 and something was ...erm, off. The quality had declined. A lot! The fuzz wasn't as thick, soft, firm, and snuggly. Therefore the boots weren't nearly as comfy. As a matter of fact they were roomy (They're s'posed to be nice n' SNUUUUUG). I hope Warmbat hasn't lost their touch. I was thinkin' of getting my daughter a pair.

It is a very nice and comfortable boot with one problem. It is very difficult to put on, despite the right size. Especially the right one, as my right foot is slightly larger than the left one, as is common with most people. The manufacturer should know this. The boots should be equipped with reliable boot straps.

"Suede Upper Separates from rubber sole" 2007-02-12

I ordered these boots for my son for a Christmas gift. He occasionally wore them for about 3 weeks (not daily) when the suede upper of the L boot separated from the rubber sole. Amazon was great with the return and getting another pair out promptly. The replacement boots arrived 1-22-07. He wore them for 4-5 hours total on 1-25, 1-26-, and 1-27 and the same thing happened again. I am now working with Warmbat for a replacement pair of boots as I think that there must be some sort of problem - at least with the sz 9 chocolate brown boots. The boots are warm and beautiful but I'll followup on this review after we receive pair #3.

"Great for cold weather" 2007-01-22

I bought these for cold weather use. I finally got a chance to use them going sledding with my kids two days ago. It was about 16 degrees and windy and my feet never knew they were outside. With no socks on my feet never got cold, not even close (even though the physical activity does generate heat, I still will have to see if they can keep the feet warm while outside, in the cold standing still). They are comfortable and once you've worn them for a few days, they form-fit to your feet nicely. Highly reccommended.

A few years a ago I purchased 2 pairs of Ugg boots, but returned them. I did so with some regret as I wanted them, but thought they cost too much. I found these while shopping sale items and read the rave reviews. I was very enticed by the sales price so I decided to give them a try. Wow!! I'm thrilled! They are very comfortable and attractive. I like the ribbon detail running down the back of the leg. The memory foam inserts which come with the boots are heavenly! The handy bottle of spray sealer and water repellant (also included) is an additional plus! I got the sand color and the sealer spray did not change the suede color whatsoever. The size in my opinion runs a tad large. I typically wear a 9, sometimes a 9 1/2, but never smaller than a 9. I bought the 9 and the boots feel more comfortable out of the box with the additional inserts already in. I'm a big time Birkenstock wearer so I'm rather used to loose fitting footwear. I imagine when the wool lining wears down some the boots may feel a little too roomy. I'd advise to consider choosing a size smaller if you don't want floppy boots. In my opinion, the quality of these boots is better than Ugg's and I particularly like the sole material (better grip) of these Warmbats much better than the Ugg brand. I very highly recommend these boots!

These boots are REALLY wonderful and particularly at this price. They are warm and very comfortable, even for doing a bit of walking. Unfortunately I bought them a little big. Beware ... they are true to size. Do not buy them bigger than what you always wear.

First I bought the wrong size. I figured it was going to be a hassle, as I would need to return the wrong size, have my account credited, and then purchase a new right-size pair. However, that process was amazingly easy using the website, there was no unreasonable delay in getting my new boots, my account was credited and debited without any delay, and I so appreciated that! Unfortunately, the exchange pair had a small flaw (no big deal; stuff happens), but the fit was much better, and this time the exchange was even better as Amazon sent out the replacement boots immediatly via next day shipping at no charge, even before receiving the flawed pair, again with absolutely no hassle.

Now that I have a pair without flaws that fit, I wouldn't give them up, not even for a pair of the "U" brand, which I believe are no better quality at a much higher price. I love the design going up the back of the boot, I love the way they look, but even more, I love how they feel and how very warm they are. Northern Utah winters can be brutal, this year even more so than normal, but my feet stay soooo cozy and warm. My husband jokes that he's surprised I don't sleep in them. I get lots of complimentary comments about how they look, and I always let people know what brand they are and where I purchased them. Great boots at a reasonable price. Thanks!

The shipping from vendor ( ShoesCentral) took @ 8 days, which is long compared to many shoe sites that offer free 1 day shipping ( and a return sticker if size is not correct ). There is no return sticker included for exchanges, also-many conditions apply, and the invoice states it may be 30 days until you recieve your replacement. The shoes ran around a half size too small, although the quality was very nice.

I thought these shoes were going to change my life, but like most things, they were just hyped up, and my feet still hurt just like they did before I got them, and my high top converse with inserts are more comfortable than these. When I walk on the street or on the concrete floor at work, I feel like I'm walking ON the concrete and not in what I was told would be one of the most comfortable shoes I'd ever wear.

My mom bought me these for Christmas and i loved them. But they only lasted for a few months! On some rainy days i started to feel like my feet were colder and started getting wet, and when i checked i saw that there was a whole in the part where the sole attaches to the upper boot. And re-glueing it DOES NOT help!! I re-glued it multiple times but it just kept tearing in a different place. I'm buying Uggs this time. These boots were terrible!!

I bought a pair of these boots last fall and i wore them to death. They are by far the most comfortable boots ever! They are so warm you could wear them in the winter without socks and your feet wouldnt even be cold! The only bad thing that happened with these boots is that this year i went to put them on and the sole around the heel completely ripped off the shaft of the boot so i basically cant wear them anymore. I blame that on me wearing them so much. I just wish they would of lasted longer. But i do plan on buying 2 more pair! I love bearpaw!

"Comfortable and warm, but they don't last" 2009-09-27

Between my daughters and me, we've had 7 pairs of these boots. They are wonderfully comfortable and warm (hence two stars instead of one). BUT they wear out very quickly. The first time, I thought it was a fluke, considering the great reviews on the quality. However, 6 of them have had the same problem (the 7th pair I rarely wear). In fact, with one pair, the stitching came lose and the shoe almost totally detached from the shaft. We've never gotten more than one season out of any of them. Last year, I wore mine maybe 2 times a week in the fall and winter, and the soles had cracks before the end of February. I'm sure you're wondering why I kept giving them a chance; I love the comfort so much that I tried to keep believing that the problem with the soles was an aberration (silly, but shoes are not always a rational decision). However, comfortable as they are, I will not be buying any more boots from Bearpaw. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 7 times...It's clear to me that this isn't a fluke, it's just the way they are made--poorly.

I don't care what anybody says, bearpaw boots are just as good as uggs. I love them! If they don't have your size available in the color you want you could probably get a size bigger and it wouldn't be too bad. (I take size 7 and have them in brown, they fit perfectly, but I also wanted them in pink and they only had size 8. They are just as great.)
